Still lobbying legislators on the last day of the Maryland General Assembly session

In an effort to secure passage of labor's bills and dealing with an early adjournment in the legislature, President Edwards and Legislative/Political Director, Chuck Cook remain at the forefront, diligently pushing labor's agenda.  They were seen lobbying one of the legislators through an open window of the Maryland State Capital on the last day of the session.

Unfortunately, on Sunday, March 15, leaders of the Maryland General Assembly announced an early adjournment of the 441st legislative session; in fact two weeks early, Wednesday, March 18 would be the last day due to growing concerns of spreading COVID-19.
